Please note that this consent form applies to social gatherings/get-togethers to be held in or about blocks and quads for limited invitees. For parties, please book the hall at the academia office.
At least five days before the social gathering is due to take place.
Any one of the four assistant resident heads (preferably the one responsible for the block where the social gathering is planned to be held).
No, the granting of consent is at the reasonable discretion of the assistant resident head and may be withdrawn at any stage if information comes to light that negatively influences the consent granted earlier.
Academia blocks/quads cannot serve as a party venue. Consent to hold a social gathering at a block is a privilege, not a right. The hall has to be booked for any party or large social function or gathering. This document only applies to social gatherings planned to take place at blocks/quads.
Quiet times must be adhered to.
A maximum of 20 people will be allowed, including those residing in the block where the proposed social gathering occurs.
Consent will only be granted for one social gathering per block per night. The consent is provided on a “first come, first served” basis, provided that permission will not be granted to the same person consecutively for more than two social gatherings in any one month.
