Academia is the only affiliated private residence at Stellenbosch University, offering spacious units.
Academia is a unique residence. As the only affiliated private residence it offers the best of two worlds: the same academic, sporting and cultural ties as any other Stellenbosch University residence but with the freedom and opportunities offered by a standalone establishment.

Academia student accommodation at Stellenbosch University is set in the heart of ‘Eikestad’ (the ‘City of Oaks’). This means not only that classes are in walking distance – the Engineering Faculty is across the road – but that students can immerse themselves in the full social, cultural and educational experience of living in a university town.
Academia is set in landscaped park-like surrounds, with 24-hour security-controlled access. There are CCTV cameras in and around the premises, and officers on foot patrol.
